Still from Born into Brothels Born into Brothels (India/US, 2004, dir. Zana Briski and Ross Kauffman, 85 mins.) In this Oscar-winning film two photographers who set out to make a movie about prostitution in Calcutta changed plans when the children in the cityˇ¦s red light district followed their every step. The directors gave cameras to the kids, who recorded the amazing unseen life of the children of prostitutes.
